Monochrome edge Herend plates are relatively new Herend porcelain products. They are painted with one colour and ornated with gilded edge. As platinum appeared on the products, platinum edge is also available with the monochrome plates. The monochrome design help to drag attention to the main pieces which are painted with detailed designs. These are used mainly as dessert plates, as part of a Herend tea set.
